expanding our concept and expression of worship with music, mime, drama, and dance
• celebrating diversity in our community with expressions of faith from other cultures
• providing rich, in-depth scriptural teaching from our team of pastors
• celebrating the Lord's Supper regularly
• hosting special worship events with guest artists and choral groups
• contemporary worship which honors the ancient and traditional church


Prayer
lifting up prayer requests weekly with the Hillside Prayer Team
• expressing thanksgiving, praise, confession, and intercession during worship through personal and pastoral prayer
• equipping for deepened prayer and spiritual disciplines during various holiday seasons (Lent, Advent, Pentecost)

Youth
experiencing spiritual and numerical growth with weekly Youth Nights for Junior and Senior High
• participating in significant events like 30 Hour Famine for hunger relief and Ascension Convention
• contributing time and talent with regular care of the church grounds, nursery help, and music
• committing to yearly summer mission trip
• youth led worship at youth group meetings

Christian Education - Children
offering weekly learning and fellowship through Sunday School - PreK through Senior High
• providing opportunity for outreach with annual Summer Fun Fest
• serving young moms with a paid and voluntary staffed nursery care during Sunday School and worship

Christian Education- Adults
offering membership classes to those seeking to be Hillsiders
• creating opportunities for in-depth study of the Scriptures with a weekly Biblical book study
• providing occasional topical study for growing adult faith such as "Who is Jesus?"
• offering home Bible study groups

Small Groups
Men On the Hill meet regularly for prayer, support, study, and fellowship

Women's Book Club meets the last Wednesday of each month to discuss the book of the month.
Covenant Couples meet monthly for fellowship, study, and spiritual growth in their marriages
•creating opportunities for in-depth study of the Scriptures with a weekly Biblical book study every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM
• providing occasional topical study for growing adult faith such as "Who is Jesus?" , “How to Pray”, “AIDs prevention” and “Good Choices in Parenting.”

• sponsoring families from Africa - from the Sudan, from Liberia, and from the Congo
• partnering with World Relief in sponsorships

• offering and coordinating bus transportation to Hillside worship services to over 30 Hillsiders
• providing needed services, products, and supplies through member contributions
• assisting opportunities to find employment

Hillside Care
offering regular communication with Hillsiders from a Care Team member
• providing monthly calls to say "Hi" and a chance for someone to ask for prayer

Fellowship
offering frequent events for fellowship and food for Hillside members, friends, and families (our famous St. Patrick's Day Dinner, Chili and Board Game Party, Annual Bonfire, and other family dinners).
• providing an atmosphere and refreshments at events that are called for guest speakers or meetings
• celebrating the church year with events such as Ash Wednesday Soup and Bread Meal, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Easter Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt.
